Beach glass daisies on 11 1/2” x 16” salvage wood. Petals are white beach glass and the centers are golden color beach glass with a bit of shimmery gold glitter on them. The “pot” is small strips of Driftwood and salvage wood—washed with gray paint, and a dash of stain to keep the patterns in the wood, while making it all the same color.
This one could be hung on a wall, or lean against a wall (mantle) or sit in a picture holder. It won’t stand alone as some of my smaller art on salvage wood
My Grace Dog and I walk on the beach each day. She swims, runs off her excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
