Beach glass daisies on 4” x 6” salvage wood, washed in charcoal gray Fusion Mineral Paint. Flower pot is metal salvaged from the beaches of Lake Erie, east of Cleveland. Deep rich burgundy tones with hints of turquoise patina. It’s exactly as I found it on the beach, the colors were not altered. Can sit on a shelf or mantle without tipping forward.
My dogs and I walk on the beach most every day. They swim, run off excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
