Elegant, simple “B” embellished with white Lake Erie beach glass and orange/white stripe. There’s also a square created with pieces of rusty metal salvaged from the beaches of Lake Erie, east of Cleveland. Had to add the gritty, banged up metal. Seemed right to use it to celebrate our Cleveland Browns.
Glass “B” sits on 11” x 14” piece of pine wood painted with charcoal gray Fusion Mineral Paint.
All glass salvaged from my walks along Lake Erie, in Cleveland. Can easily hang on a wall, or be set in a picture holder.
Would look great in an office, family room, or children’s bedroom. Classic design works with any decor. Makes a great gift.
My dogs and I walk the beach most every day, and in any season/weather. We all get outdoors, get some exercise, and I collect items that don’t belong on the beach, use them to create art. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years. Long before it was considered “cool” to upcycle.
Original, mixed media art.
