Stone painted pineapple with a mix of green, light teal/green, white beach glass leaves at its top. It sits on a 3 1/2” x 2” (thick) x 8” (tall) piece of driftwood, painted charcoal gray. Lots of color, texture, and a bit of sparkle on the yellow part of the pineapple.
Why a pineapple? I created one for fun several years ago, and have been asked many times if I’d be making more—and I promised to add some this spring and summer.
My Grace Dog and I walk on the beach each day. She swims, runs off her excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
