Orange/Red and white sailboat with yellow stone sunshine, embellished with twisty beach wire. Sail is made with a two thick pieces of plastic (exactly as they were found). It sits on an 6” x 4” piece of salvaged wood, washed with blues. The salvaged wood (see photos) is slightly rounded, which gives this a different look.
Why a sailboat? Sailboats = summer. Whimsical and fun!!
My Grace Dog and I walk on the beach each day. She swims, runs off her excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
