2019 Green Beach Glass Tree
I always make green glass trees for my traditionalists!! Not everybody wants black, white, and funky metals in their holiday decor...
This one is unique, a little different...
Green glass tree on 9 1/2” x 10” piece of thin 1/4”, salvaged wood. It was a sliver of tree wood that I rescued, then cut. It’s washed in antique white paint. I drilled two small holes in the top, added a wire to hang it from.
Tree base is rich, chocolate brown beach glass. Sizing is approximate as I'm cutting from Salvage wood. I used a ton of newer green glass on the top layer, so this one is very sparkly when it catches the light.
Mixed media original, signed art, constructed to last for generations. Grass Green, pale green, white, and brown hues are timeless, elegant, classic.
