Original "Short Fat Tree" made with green beach glass. This one is a nod to those families who always choose the trees that are as fat, full as they are tall. This one is on vintage painted canvas with 13 1/2" x 16 1/2" upcycled frame. Frame and canvas are painted matte, antique, creamy white. Background is textured canvas. Base of tree is driftwood, and the tree is a collection of green color beach glass.
This is where it all started almost many years ago. I cannot make these fast enough during the fall months. I've been comissioned to make many as gifts. I generally make 4-5 per year, before running out of both glass and patience. (They take many hours to create.)
