I’ve never mixed stones and glass in this way. This is a bit of a diversion from how I usually create my daisy art.
Beach stone daisies with sparkly green beach glass leaves on 6” x 8” salvage wood. Centers of the daisies are beach stones with a bit of shimmery gold glitter on them (sealed). The “pot” is a heavy plastic salvaged from the beach, washed with gray acrylic paint. It’s shape is a bit wonky, fun!!
This one could be hung on a wall, or sit in a picture holder on a shelf or mantle. The wood is a little to thin for it to stand on its own. Background painted charcoal gray shade of Fusion Mineral Paint.
My dogs and I walk on the beach each day. They swim, run off excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
