Heart created with pieces of pale teal, whites, and soft blue/green beach glass on heavy piece of 8” x 8” (1 1/2” thick) piece of salvage wood. Wood is washed in a mix of rich turquoise and antique white paint. This is a sturdy piece. Will work best sitting on shelf or mantle. It is a little to thick (my thought) to hang on a wall.
Accented around the edge with real beach sand mixed with a touch of glitter. Also ran a light dusting along the left side. Sand is sealed so that it won’t fall off.
Unique, one of a kind, mixed media art. All items used to create this art were found, salvaged from my walks on the beaches of Lake Erie, east of Cleveland.
