Stone painted pineapple with teal, green, white beach glass leaves at its top. Pineapple is pale orange, mustard yellow, and a bit of sparkle. It sits on a 4” x 8” piece of salvaged wood, washed with charcoal gray (Ash) Fusion Mineral Paint.
Why a pineapple? I created one for fun a while back, and am often asked to make them. If you look closely at the white glass, you’ll see metal inside one piece of glass.
My Grace Dog and I walk on the beach each day. She swims, runs off her excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
