Beach glass daisies on 6” x 8” piece of salvage wood, washed in charcoal gray (Ash) Fusion Mineral Paint. Flower pot is beach driftwood. Could lean on a mantle, be placed in a picture frame, or hung on a wall. This one tends to tip forward, not stand on its own because the twisty, textured glass in the front is heavy. I layer the glass for movement, and to mix up the older, opaque glass with newer/shiny glass.
My dogs and I walk on the beach each day. They swim, run off excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
