Beach glass flowers on 8” x 10” salvage wood. White, teal, purple (white glass brushed with purple paint) beach glass petals, and all centers are beach stones with a bit of shimmery gold glitter on them (sealed). The “pot” is material salvaged from the beach (Lake Erie). Maybe leather? Note sure.
This one could be hung on a wall, or lean against a wall (mantle) or sit in a picture holder. It won’t stand alone as some of my smaller art on salvage wood. Back is wired for easy hanging. Background painted charcoal gray shade of Fusion Mineral Paint.
My dogs and I walk on the beach each day. They swim, run off excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
