Beach glass flowers on 7 1/2” x 15” salvage wood. Unique design. Flowers are made with white beach glass. All centers are golden color beach stones with a bit of shimmery gold glitter on them (sealed).
What makes this one special?
The wood is slanted at top, and is a piece of salvaged barn wood. The flower pot is driftwood; the darker patches of black along the right side were not painted on—I found it this way. There are copper wire “stems” woven in, brushed with green acrylic paint. And also green beach glass petals. All materials salvaged from the beaches of Lake Erie, east of Cleveland.
This one could be hung on a wall, or lean against a wall (mantle) or sit in a picture holder. It won’t stand alone as some of my smaller art on salvage wood. Back is wired for easy hanging.
My dogs and I walk on the beach each day. They swim, runs off their excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
