Stone painted pineapple with green beach glass leaves at its top. It sits on a 6 1/2” x 10 1/2” piece of salvage wood (oak) washed in robins egg blue paint. This is large, the glass and beach stone are heavy; it will work best hung on a wall or in some type of picture holder.
Why a pineapple? I created one for fun last fall, and have been asked many times if I’d be making more—and I promised to add some this spring and summer.
My Grace Dog and I walk on the beach each day. She swims, runs off her excess energy and I collect beach glass, stones, metal, wire, plastic, rubber... bring it all home in my backpack to be used in my art—or recycled.
