Beach glass cherry blossoms with a copper wire, housed in a 13” x 16” upcycled, vintage frame.
I started this piece several years ago, just finished it. Some of the beach glass is brushed with pale pink paint, some was left white. Glass is a mix of frosty and clear. Everything salvaged from the beaches of Lake Erie, Cleveland.
Inspired by the Cherry Blossom Festival, and the cherry blossoms surrounding the Tidal Basin at the end of March, early April in Washington, D.C.
