Fall Glass Tree
Rich brown, deep gold, pale brown, and orange glass tree on 8” x 14” piece of locally, salvaged barn wood washed in black paint. There is a rough edge on one side of the tree. Tree base is twisty copper wire salvaged from the beach, Lake Erie. Extra cool because it throws shadows.
Back is wired for hanging on a wall. Also works leaning on shelf or in picture hanger; this ones probably to heavy to sit on a shelf/mantle without support.
Something different; rarely find glass with yellow, orange, rust tones, and I can never quite figure out what to do with my brown glass.
Mixed media original, signed art, constructed to last for generations. Subtle, soothing fall colors are timeless, elegant, classic.
